We are a different kind of literary agency. We are looking for passionate authors who will enjoy collaborating with an experienced professional. We work with first time authors as well as veteran writers. However, we understand that the first-time author requires a level of attention and assistance that transcends that of the experienced author. Having personally edited more than 300 books, Krames understand what it takes to transform a germ of an idea into a compelling book proposal.

In his role as literary agent, Jeffrey Krames will perform the following critical tasks and more:

• Evaluate book ideas and proposals
• Assist/guide authors as they prepare book proposals
• Find the right publisher for each viable book project
• Negotiate book contracts and favorable terms on behalf of the author
• Offer guidance throughout the book-writing process (especially first-time authors)
